I simmed a fictional league from 1945 to 1994, then took over my hometown Philly team which, true to life, was in the crapper. I finished 12 games behind 1st place. The team budget was screwy and I did a lousy job of dropping dead wood. Worst part was that I lost some scouts and therefore had no ratings for MLB players.

Because of that, I was conservative with my spending because I didn't know what I was getting. Now my team is a full 25 games out in mid 1995. They truly suck, have the worst farm system I've seen, and my only hope is making some free agent signings in the post season.

Will the owner can me for 2 losing seasons? They have a nice green balance sheet (7 million) because I didn't draft anyone, and dropped an expensive veteran for a prospect.
