In all fairness, Michael Grant was a decent heavyweight. Good skills, but no chin. He did challenge THE heavyweight champion of the world at the time, Lennox Lewis, back in 2000, although he was crushed inside of two rounds while Lewis held and hit.

I'm no Michael Grant fan, but he seems to be a decent guy, and he didn't attempt to take the "easy" way to a title by challenging a weaker belt holder the way that Roy Jones Jr. (vs John Ruiz) did, and Samuel Peter (vs Oleg Maskaev), is trying to do. I wish him all the best.
Good points & with some of the HW champs we have, who's to say he couldn't win one of the titles?
