This is a bit peculiar. I found what I thought was the base directory for a standard MLB setup. I loaded it up into my editor program and had a look around. The abbreviation for the Pacific Conference in the PCL is indeed AC, but also what I found is that the 8 teams in the PC are listed in the teams.dat as belonging to sub-league 0 (the AC). I edited the abbreviation to PC and changed the sub league for teams 53-60 to 1.

I started the game and chose new game, but when it brought it up, the abbreviation for the PC was still AC. I changed it in game to PC and started the first season.

I'll report back when this first season has finished running to see whether I still have the same problems as I did before and whether the problems injury_log has seen are repeated.
