The team can say what they want and I'm sure they use the same stats you brought up but I doubt Newsday is looking at the same thing.
They only talked about average against, not inherited runs scored.
I'm not going to say that Myers deserves to be on the big league roster but I'm positive that it wasn't average against that sent him down.
