To get to 95 wins the Yanks now need to play .661 baseball the rest of the way.
The Red Sox only have to play .551.
Looks like the two teams will have to do a total reversal this second half. And even with that the Yanks will still have to play better than the Red Sox did in the first half. The Sox only need to play a bit better than the Yankees and their first half.
I still don't say the Yanks catch them. 6.5 games isn't that easy.
