Duncan won't turn 28 until Sept. 21. He was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2001 draft by New York out of U. of Arizona.
His career line entering the 2007 season was .251/.334/.468 with just 43 at bats at the AAA level. This season he put up a .295/.380/.577 line at AAA Scranton. That's easily the highest level of performance Duncan has displayed in his pro career.
