Home to the great Professor Charles Hadley who began boxing at about this time. He lost in his one shot at the Colored title with Godfrey. Later he beat a stiff for something billed as the Black HW title but I don't know if that counted in anybody's book.
The fight one-liners are the best thing about this little universe.
