I set one guy to scout my organization permanently, and one to scout upcoming opponents permanently. The others I send to countries, but I usually send them to countries without a lot of talent. If you keep them in central america or southeast asia, they find way too many really good prospects. It makes the game (for me) not very difficult. Plus, its way more fun to have a center fielder who is the only player in the league from Suriname, than it would be to have another run-of-the-mill Dominican stud. Occasionally, if I think the scouts are finding me way too many good prospects, I sign and then immediately release the 5-stars and let the rest of the league have at them.
