How often do you use the quick scout option? I have been quick scouting players but wth more the one scout to get a better idea of how good a player actually is.

I keep my two worst scouts permanently out in the world, going from country to country to try to unearth some gem. For the rest of the scouts, I use the "tasklist" function to have them perpetually quick scouting every league in my universe. As soon as one of them finishes and sends me their report on the league, I take a look at their top few prospects, quick scout them with my other scouts, then often try to trade for them. In this way, I try to keep my team heavy with still-developing top prospects, trading away higher-cost, more developed players. It's worked pretty well.
The only time I change this is to send all scouts to scout the draft class.
Also, a few times a year, I'll have my head scout really scout (not quick scout) my entire organization. That takes only 21 days and that way I try to have the head scout up to date with my own players' development.
