Yes, I would fire you after 23 years for some new blood and new talent that isn't just happy with 2nd best. Thru your whole resume you promoted yourself as a just get by coach/manager. Neither looking for the best talent or even wanting it by your own admissions. If I'm paying the big bucks I want winners and dynasties like the Yankees who are in the world series more often than not. I don't care about the money, spend it, get me the best and one of your problems that I noticed as an owner is you didn't keep up with "clutch" pitchers, oh they are great during the year winning you 120 games and then in the playoffs when it really counts their "clutch" performance is awful.
