After having 6 teams disband over the past year leaving just 5 teams remaining, the upcoming 1873 campaign sees the addition of 4 new teams. They are the Marylands of Baltimore, the Resolutes of Elizabeth, the Whites of Philadelphia, and the Blue Legs of Washington.

Baltimore Canaries: In order to expect to win anything, you have to improve your team and the club from Baltimore didn’t do anything meaningful to improve their club.

But with the addition of O’Rourke, that also means that George Wright will have no place to play as a regular and will ride the bench. In addition to that, they have the trio McVey, Barnes, and Wood returning. The team from Boston will definitely be in the hunt for its 3rd straight title.
