This is something I'd like to do.

1) Make the league on the left side of the screen the "major league" with sixteen or eighteen teams.

2) Make the team on the right side of the screen the "minor league" with the same amount of teams as the major league.

3) Use a schedule with no inter-league play and when the season is over, swap the top teams in the "minor league" with the bottom teams in the "major league" to represent the promotion and relegation.

If teams were constantly switching from one league to the other, would it have any effect on team records?
