Game #97 – Los Angeles (A) (B. Colon 2-12, 5.36 ERA) at Kansas City (J. Bale 5-7, 6.05 ERA)

Los Angeles (A) 8
Kansas City 15
W: B. Evert (3-1) L: H. Carrasco (5-3)
HR – LAA: M. Napoli (16) KC: C. Koskie (17), E. Brown (9), S. Spiezio 2 (27)

If we could score over 10 runs a game, we’d be fine. Bale gave up 5 runs in 2/3 of an inning to put us behind early. We got 2 back in the 4th, and took the lead by scoring 6 in the 5th. However, the Angels scored 2 in the 6th and 1 in the 8th, but we exploded for 7 in the 8th to run away with it. Scott Spiezio went 2-3 with 2 home runs, 3 runs scored, 5 RBIs, and 2 walks to lead us.
