Joey Gathright came off the DL today. Thankfully that means that Jorge Padilla can go back to Omaha.

We were down early, 5-3 after 3. Our bullpen came in an did an outstanding job. Peralta and Stemle pitched 6.1 innings of shutout baseball. Our bats finally woke up with 2 outs in the 8th, and we scored 5 runs in that inning.

Although he did give up a run, Edgar Gonzalez pitched a no-hitter, the second one this season. He walked 1 and struck out 6. The Angels scored their run in the bottom of the 1st, when Figins was hit by a pitch, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and tagged up on a fly out to left.
