You have to give Floyd credit for his timing and knowing who to pick. He came out right away after he heard that ODLH was talking to Hatton about a possible fight. Floyd doesn't want a chance for a decent PPV to slip by where he can make a few bucks without taking too big of a risk in the ring. I would give a little bit of credit to Hatton too, for knowing what to say to push Floyd's buttons. Hatton needs this fight because it is a career fulfilling economic fight for him. And if he can pull off a good showing, he may have a chance at some more big fights, especially since his fighting style is one that is very well liked in the states. I dont see Hatton winning, but I like his courage for pursuing the best possible boxer for the toughest fight, and more importantly, for his willingness to risk his perfect record.
