I've been going by decade when doing historical great teams leagues.
I made this chart , it lists every teams best finish by decade.
My criteria for best team each decade went.....
#1 - World Series Champ (WS)
#2 - World Series Champ (WS) best record if more than 1 in a decade
#3 - AL/NL Champ (AL/NL)
#4 - AL/NL Champ (AL/NL) best record if more than 1 in decade
#5 - Division Champ (DIV)
#6 - Division Champ (DIV) best record if more than 1 in decade
#7 - Wild Card (WC)
#8 - Wild Card (WC) best record if more than 1 in decade
#9 - Best Winning Percentage (Finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th)
I'd like to post it here if anyone is interested in checking it out but it is in Excel format and this site is not letting me upload it. I also have it in word, but it is 124 kbs and this site only allows me to post up to 100 kbs.
If anyone is interested in checking it out and has an idea of how I can get it to you just let me know....
