The type of "pressure" fighting that Hatton does isn't the same as what prime Castillo or Cotto does. Hatton punches then ties up. Cotto is like the Terminator he just keeps coming at you and throwing punches. Cotto doesn't tie up. I could also see the rough house tactics costing Hatton points in a fight against Mayweather.
Honestly I see a 119-109/118-110 final score. Would like to see them do it though because it's a big fight!
Of all the big fights Mayweather could pick .. this is by far the safest.

I agree with you, Hatton isn't big enough and doesn't have the power to cause any serious concern for Mayweather. Both fighters would be foolish by not taking the fight. It is the big-type of revenue fight that Floyd would be looking for to come out of his hiatus and it would be a defining type of fight for Hatton, not to mention his most lucrative of career. The styles will help it to become an interesting fight if Hatton will continue to press the issue for 12 rounds. Floyd is just too quick and should win the fight if he doesn't get complacent or loses interest. Another decision type of fight.
And, man do I love Cotto's left hook to the body. I don't know why more fighters don't work the body consistently in the early rounds...actually I do know, it is not as glamourous and everybody is looking for the spectacular headshot. Work the body like the heavy bag!
