Singleton won his first 7 fights in 1967-68 including 5 KO/TKO's. They were over Ralph (Spider) Denny, Wilbert (Buddy) Elbert, Charley Brown, Art Miller, Lee Estes, Willy Jones and Eddie Dembry. The rest of Singleton's career was marked by a draw with Aaron Eastling, wins against Johnny Mac and Orville Qualls and then ended with 10 round decision losses to Eddie Brooks and Tony Doyle.

Hartzell's career started with 4 round decision losses to LHW Tom Gerarde(16-4-2,5) and Willie Yanovich(0-2-0) in April and July 1960. Then through the rest of 1960 and on thru July 1961 he won 6 out of 7 fights. The one loss was a 4 rounder to Jim Berdis(7-6-0,3). The combined records of all the opponents he defeated were 1-12-0,1KO.
There's then a 5-1/2 year break in Hartzell's career according to boxrec as he next shows up in late February 1967 when he knocks out LHW Ted Hamilton(1-32-0,0). According to the boxrec account, Hamilton fought under the name of Arthur Lee. Then in April 67 he knocks out Wilbert Elbert in 3 an in June KO's Joe Byrd in the 4th round. Hartzell's last fight shown is getting knocked out by Billy Morris in the 4th round in May 1968.
