A 4 round draw and a 4 round decision over Dave Barutha(0-1-1) started Denny's career in April and June 1967. In September 67 he lost a 4 round UD to Charles Singleton(9-3-1,5), then in October fought to a 4 round draw with Charley Brown(0-2-1). In May 1968 he lost another 4 round UD, this one to Mike Tracy(3-0-0,2).

We then don't see Denny again for almost 2 years when he's KO'd in 2 in March 1970 by Frank Schram(19-11-0,12). That's followed with another 2nd round KO loss in April, this time by John Gatus(3-0-0,2). Denny finishes with a 3rd straight 2 round KO defeat, this last one in November 1971 to Larry Beilfuss(19-23-1,8).

Knockout losses were to Jimmy Hartzell(9-4-0,8), Paul Williams(1-2-0,1), Miller, HW Charles Singleton(9-3-1,5), Battling Bob Smith(5-8-2,4) and lastly to Ron Stander.
