[Ragin Cajun]

Eugene "Gene" Morris is a young prospect from Daniels, West Virginia. Originally in the farm system of the Seattle Mariners, he is now one of the top prospects in baseball. At 6'2, 200 pounds he is a physical specimen, however he has next to no power at the plate. What he does bring is a Tony Gwynn eye and contact potential with Paul Molitor gap power. He's speedy but not the fastest guy out there and is a tremendous bunter. He is rated a 5-star player by the NSB who will provide scouting reports to all teams, with no team allowed their own scouts to gain any unfair advantage in the game.

The day of the inaugural draft approaches in early January, 2036; and Morris is sitting at home with his parents (no agents allowed by the league) awaiting the phone call that may change his life.
