Game #23 – Oakland (S. Komine 4-0, 0.60 ERA) at Kansas City (J. Gobble 1-2, 3.13 ERA)

Oakland 5
Kansas City 3
W: S. Komine (5-0) L: J. Gobble (1-3) S: H. Street (7)
HR – OAK: J. Gomes (7)

The A’s jumped on Gobble early, starting off the game with a single, a HBP, 2-RBI double, 2-run home run. We were down 4-0 before even recording an out. Needless to say, that’s not going to cut it when going against someone in Komine’s kind of groove.
