Game #11 – Kansas City (O. Perez 2-0, 3.38 ERA) at Tampa Bay (C. Fossum 0-1, 1.02 ERA)

Hmmm…..Fossum again? I know they’re desperate while Kazmir is still day-to-day, but to start a guy twice in three games? I’m not too sure about that. Just as confusing were some of Buddy’s decisions. He pinch hit Costa and Clapinski in the top of the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th, Costa played left and Spiezio moved to first, which was fine. But he put Clapinski behind the plate. Dotel gave up a 2-run, 2-out homer to Young to tie the game. He then gave up a full count, 2-out RBI double to Jorge Cantu in the bottom of the 10th.
