We are the xLb. We have only done one sim using 2007 rosters and have 3 openings available.
You do not need the game. It is all forum based, BUT WE STILL USE A LEAGUE FILE! SO if you have the game you can use it for this league. Click the forum link on the page and go to the new owners forum and post there after you register and you will get the team you requested if available. The openings so far are the following:
