The Pennant-Chase Baseball League has one opening, the Gainesville Gators. We are at the All-Star break of our first season, 1993. We sim three times a week (Tues/Thur/Sun), and sim five days at a time. We have an extremely active bunch of owners and message board. We are a completely fictional league.

The Gators are 46-46, 5.5 games behind divisional leader Clearwater, and five games behind the Wild Card leader Raleigh. The Gators are a remarkably fast team, as they have stolen 167 bases in 92 games. The next closest team has 97 steals. Small ball is the name of the game, as the team doesn't have much power.

The Gators are led by their first round pick, CF Pedro Mireles. The league's fastest player has 41 steals already on the season, and has only been caught 10 times.

Closer Armando Tasado, the teams second round pick is their lone All-Star, with the All-Star game being played this sunday.

Third round pick CF Vincent Puckett is tearing up AAA, and is listed as the tenth best prospect in the PCBL. He brings more speed to the table and also a powerful bat.
