This is a match-up of former MMA fighters making the transition to boxing. Eastman has been pretty vocal in the press about his desire for this fight. But you better be careful for what you ask for, because Jackson, the former Light-Heavyweight UFC Champion, looks ready to shut Eastman up on the way to the top of the heavyweight rankings. Both fighter sprint to the center of the ring. Eastman lands a crushing hook to open up the 1st. Jackson counters over Eastman’s arm and lands his own hook. Not much more after the first 30 seconds. Eastman lands the first shot here in the 2nd and is warned by the referee for throwing his shoulder into the head of Jackson. Jackson is clearly not happy and responds with a combination and outpoints his opponent, 16-6. This fight has already gone longer than both fighters predicted. We will see who is in better condition. Both men land hard punches with Jackson suffering the most damage in the 3rd round. Rampage traps Eastman against the ropes and fires volleys of punches. A right cross, a couple of ripping hooks, an uppercut, Eastman is hurt and is not responding with any punches of his own. That’s all she wrote, referee Ramirez steps in and stops the fight as Eastman is hunched over in the ropes. The winner, and still undefeated, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. (TKO4) at the 2:13 mark.
Well, I have to give Eastman a hand he proved to be a far stronger punching bag then I thought. I was certain that Rampage would crush him in a round but I'm happy that Quinton was able to get a few extra rounds of sparring in.

As has been said before we like to keep our prospects busy here at Muckboy Promotions so we'll be looking for an opponent for a fight in January. We think Rampage is ready to move beyond the punching bag with arms level of opponent so we'll hoping to land someone that could pose a something of a challenge. Following that Rampage will be taking February off to avoid any chances of burnout.
