You know, I think Julio Jr's career has progressed really well. Look at how many fights his father had on his resume. He had something like 40 fights before he fought for the title. By the time he fought for a title, he was a seasoned fighter.
Now his son is doing the same thing. It's the same way they did it in the old days. There are some things you learn by fighting that can't be learned as easily in the gym. Even if Jr. picks up a loss or two along the way, he may still become a standout fighter within the next several years.
*Gatti has Mickey Ward in his corner now. How can you not root for the two to them to be successful again.
