His fight Saturday night is against another stiff but it is a little step up in competition .. the guy did beat his 100 year old dad after all.

Good point about Chavez Jr. still picking and choosing his fights. He's still 21 years old and has plenty of time to step it up. Grover Wiley is a tough veteran who has been in the ring with some prospects recently (Garcia, Salita) and should give JR. some rounds and experience. I still believe that his dad is doing right by him not rushing him into the fire too soon. JCC was 44-0 against lower competiton before he fought Mario Martinez for the vacant WBC SFW title.
