I remember I'm sure it was a Celtic/Rangers game where the ref Hugh Dallas was struck by a coin from the fans, and he just got it stitched up and went on with the game, because I'm guessing it would have caused more problems if he had stopped it than continuing. Look I don't have a problem with a referee stopping a game for safety grounds or even abuse if that is his opinion at the time. But I really think if we go down the line of forfeitures it could get into a very sticky situation.

I think I'm going to have a look through the Dutch fixtures, because although it's a FIFA rule for everywhere, I know that a number of games have been called off due to fan abuse. But I want to see if they led to forfeiture or were continued from the point they were stopped at.
