Well, I am glad to see the bats come alive once again. Clippard was wild, but he was at least effective through 5. Cano had a great game at the plate and just about everyone pitched in. Let's see how far they can carry it. On a sadder note:

The Yankees are adding Roger Clemens to their rotation Monday. They won't be getting Phil Hughes back anytime soon, however.
Hughes, who has been on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring since May 2, rolled his left ankle last week. He has been diagnosed with a Grade III ankle sprain, according to general manager Brian Cashman, and is expected to need four to six weeks of rehabilitation. A Grade III sprain is the most severe of the three sprains, and involves a completely torn ligament.
Hughes will be out until at least the All-Star break.
