Purchased the game today and it is a lot different from the OOTP Version 2 I played a few years ago. I remember starting the game and it played without too much thought. This version, and I'm sure it is loaded with additional great features, is much more complex and will need to get used to the massive setup it entails. For the record I am running Vista. I know that purchasing complex games like this will require some frustrating moments at first. Still---------
I ran into these problems that I hope someone will help this poor newbee out:

1. Tried to access the database to import an older player and screen wants to know where the master.csv program is. It didn't find it where the default folder tried to load it so I did a search on my computer and couldn't find it anywhere. Where is it? Why didn't the game go directly to it?

2. Tried to load a "historical" game at the beginning screen and it couldn't find it and therefore wouldn't load it.

3. The only thing that would load at the initial screen was a fictional league with funny team names.

4. Where are the minor leagues located. Tried to trade a player but wanted to see the minor league to see if there was someone I wanted.

5. Since the game comes without a manual of any kind I noticed that online there was a 500 page massive manual and the screen said to download it and copy over the one that came with the program. There were two websites to go to. One was RAPIDSHARE.DE and the other was OOTPDEVFILES. The first took me to a semi-porn site that talked about Anne Nicole Smith or someone having sex in a bathtub. The other site did display the manual but there was no way to download it.

If someone can explain these things to me, I believe I can get started learning the system. Otherwise, I'm afraid this is unplayable for me. Thank you.
