I have a question for those who use the Reserve Roster with no minors and use the draft. How do I keep the player's morale high enough so that their talent levels don't go down the drain? I just started my ideal league and decided to use no minors but keep the draft. I get these great players and their morale drops as they think that they should be bench players!!!

Example I got a guy who has a talent rating of 13 for contact and 19 for gap power, but his current ratings are 2 for contact and 3 for gap. Obviously he does not belong in the majors (he is only 17) but after 2 years he went from a 5 star potential and his talent ratings dropped from 13 to 7 for contact and gap power from 19 to 13. This is just not one player but many on my roster.

Do you need to use the minors when using the amateur draft? I am beginning to think so...... looks like I am going to have to restart this league, did not back it up so I guess I need to copy all the unis and logos I use for the next iteration of this solo league.....

Recommendations???
