When I first read the thread I also thought it was a reference to a D&D type thing. Maybe cause I play games like LOTRO, DAOC, WOW that's my frame of reference and the first thing that jumps to mind, not some social group.
Words can never be bad, intentions are bad, but never words by themselves.
