I know the CPU will change the role of a SP to MR (recalc off), but will they change a MR to SP if needed ?

Before I started my league, I quickly went through the pitchers and assigned a SP role to all pitchers that started at least half of their career real life games. Then I did the "run CPU manager on all teams" thing, and most (if not all) of the pitchers I changed to SP changed back to MR (even with endurance of 10 on a 1-10 scale). Im ok with that as long as they change them back if needed, but Im not sure if they do.
