Perhaps it would be better if it was a numerical rating instead of a text rating or something so that people wouldn't get hung up on terminology (like "unknown). It would be easier to say that a guy went from being a 5 in popularity to a 1 than he went from being popular to unknown, which doesn't make logical sense when you say it.
