Incidentally for anyone who is interested the answer to the question I posed in the last thread arising from the first Major League game ever played. That was hosted by Fort Wayne Kekiongas who defeted the Cleveland Forest Citys. I asked for the only team, and that just for 1 season, to represent the State that hosted that first ever game, in the 20th century. The answer was the 1914 Indianapolis Federal League team.
Bill love the colorizations, look forward to seeing more. I believe Possum was the Pirates regular third-baseman in 1920 and regular right fielder in 1921 (hint).
