Sounds like the Yanks want him to see a 4th doctor. Personally, I say let him have whatever course of action he wants and release him. Buy out his contract and free up a spot on the 40 man roster.
I don't know enough about this injury to know if he's being a baby or not. Given his past, I can understand why people think he's over-reacting though.
