I have the same superstitions about player jerseys. I finally broke down and bought 2 Buehrle jerseys last year and then he tanked
I was going to buy a Konerko this year and I held off. Although, this year I'm not sure Konerko could be any worse. I am never naming a pet after an active player again, I will wait until they retire
