You should do something a guy from San Francisco did several years ago. He was a diehard Giants fan for years and years. However, the Giants and Matt Williams parted ways and the guy went nuts. He declared himself a "Free Agent Fan". He wrote a letter (a nice one, not a "you guys suck for losing williams" type letter) to the Giants declaring his free agency. He then penned a letter to every single team in the league at the time and told them he was a free agent fan and why he was a free agent fan. He told each team what he is looking for in a new team to follow.

A dozen or so teams responded, many of which made various offers including free tickets or merchandise. Several teams offered him the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a game and I believe 1-2 teams offered him the honor of tossing out the 1st pitch on Opening Day.

It was a great idea and it worked for him. I forget who he chose and what they offered but it was a great idea. I thought about it doing myself for the free tickets and merchandise and such but I couldn't bear to pen a letter saying I no longer cared bout the Red Sox.
