I had no idea that was the case. I was just trying to be a crafty GM. It shouldn't matter that he's my ace, though. He has option years left. I'm going to send down a bench player, but I'm in a real mess: carrying 14 pitchers at the moment. <-- Not such a crafty GM after all.
