I see sports as league based rather than team based. Sure Bayern and the Yankees and the Lakers make vastly more money than other franchises in their sport. But I think its better for the sport to have a more level playing field. And in soccer I think the top leagues should also be required to share revenue with the lower leagues to ensure the long term viability of these lower leagues and perhaps the sport itself as we know it.
