For those who want a perfect 5 man rotation and a solid lineup 1-9, its not going to happen. You shouldn't just be able to go out and get whatever you want to fill a hole in your roster. In fact, IMO, you should rarely be able to accomplish that through trading.

No you shouldnt just be able to trade at will and have a perfect team BUT you should be able to go out and trade a top prospect for something that can help your team's push for the playoffs. Contending teams deal prostpects for a 'rent a player' every year. Teams with no shot at the playoffs deal their higher priced players/pending FA's, for prospects every year. It should happen in OOTP as well.
