The first two seasons for Wagner are within the normal deviations, so I'd just guess you're looking at the vagaries of chance unless he's hitting .230 in August. Does he have an injury this year? Even a minor one can send a player into a tailspin for the season. As for Roy Thomas, I'd ask the people who actually know whether eye affects the contact rating in some minor way. Thomas is one of my personal favorites, but .400 is a bit high for a full season. I think I'll play with the Eye rating in the editor and see if the contact rating changes with it.
