The only real problem I see is that certain teams havent matured making the divisions slightly unequal right now. This will take care of itself in the next 2/3 years. We just switched to this division format last year and we knew that something usual could happen. The league is very top heavy right now but that will change and everything will be fine
On that note I would feel bad for the villes if they go 9-1(more likely) or 10-0(very much less likely) and NOT make the playoffs.
