ALL-STAR BREAK

The 2014 All-Star Game is taking place in Chicago at brand new John Deere Park, home of the Chicago Cubs. The new stadium has the same dimensions as old Wrigley Field, which is now a museum. The new ballpark is being called one of the best EVER built and after the city's debacles with Solider Field and Comiskey Park of the White Sox, the Cubs felt this was their opportunity to "shine" and boy, does it shine.

In thinking about this season, this team and such alike, I've decided to gloss over the 2014 season as was my original plan anyway...and to do a game-by-game account of the 2015 season. I've NEVER done a dynasty before where I did that.

But for some reason, I think the challenge of recapping each game slowly and savouring the actual team, rather than running through it, would be a good thing and could add a whole new dimension to things.

So we're going to try that and so, it gives you something to look forward to as head into next year, I guess.
