I used a quickstart game with 6 leagues.
Rookies are winning rookie of the year, month, week...for two years.
A rookie had 400 ABs in his first season and then was still considered a rookie in his second season. He won Rookie of the Week in his second season.
A rookie had 507 ABs in his first season and then was still considered a rookie in his second season. He won the Rookie of the Month in his second year.
It was a quickstart league. I made changes in the league structure, creating two subleagues with 8 teams in each.

Not a solution, or an excuse.
Does the game recognize rookies as "players who have been in the bigs for less than X months" ? If so, that could be the problem. If so, it needs fixed
