Hehehehe. Yeah, his defense is way off. He's rated as a 90+ in right with a 90+ arm, and he's made a ton of what the PBP tells me are great defensive plays. I know the Cubbies played him some in center field, but that was in the day where managers did crazy things like that. Pete Incaviglia played some center with the Rangers, for chrissakes.
Hernandez only gets a 51 at first base. I imagine they're basing the defensive ratings off of numbers, but that is strange. Hernandez makes a lot of good plays during the game as well, although I'm starting to suspect the PBP just randomly assigns certain putouts to be "great plays."
