I just set it to sim to our next game. I'm not sure how it handles Spring Training, but whatever. It pauses with a trade proposal that I think is worthwhile, catcher Joe Nolan for Bernie Carbo. I tweak it so that I don't have to bring anyone else up from reserve.
St. Louis receives: Joe Nolan, C and Jeff Burroughs LF
Atlanta receives: Bernie Carbo, RF and Steve Swisher, C
Nolan will start at catcher and Burroughs gives us some pop off the bench.
I manage to sim all the way to Opening Day. Hoorah. We played some spring training games. Not sure what purpose they served. Anyway, on with the action.
