Jerseys are created when the jersey logo is compiled into a jersey image and then wrapped on the player's torso. Caps work much the same way, but with jerseys, you can choose from different jersey templates that allow you to do things like piping and striping. The game is released with 4 templates, but modders like Deft have released literally hundreds more, which you can download and unzip into the proper folder. Then, when you restart the game, you can choose those templates on the team logos screen and recompile the jersey image with the new template.

Some jerseys, like the Astros rainbow jerseys, need more than the primary, secondary, and striping colors. In those cases, you can manually create your compiled jersey image, load it into the game, and you'll have your jersey. The work I'm posting here is all from compiled jersey images. Once all 30 teams are finished, I'll post the zip file and you'll be able to use any of these jerseys without worrying about whether or not you have the right jersey template.

4) How to do pinstriped hats
Hats have a default template and no option to choose a different template from within the game. To do either of these, you need to manually create the compile cap image yourself and then add the striping or change the colors of the panels. Changing panel colors is pretty easy, but striping is a bit more challenging because of the way the compiled image wraps on the player's head. You can use straight lines on the front cap panel, but the side panels get a lot of curve to them. The stripes on the Pirates caps in this thread actually have very warped side panel stripes in order to get them to show up straight in the player photo.
