Ya, I hear where you're coming from, but these "self-control" methods severely limit the features of a game. I mean its almost like saying "if you want to avoid taking advantage of the AI, don't trade at all". Of course that's the best way to avoid taking advantage of the AI, but who wants to do that?
This problem obviously isn't as extreme, but it does prevent me from being able to pick up some marginally okay minor leaguers from the CPU teams. Why have this restriction when it can be fixed?
Obviously, things could be worse, but it doesn't mean that there isn't a problem here.
