1908 Amateur Draft
As expected, the top pick in the draft was centerfielder Duke Snider. Snider is raw, but is projected to be a franchise-level player when he develops - which Pittsburgh can only hope is quickly. Fellow CF'er Bernie Williams went to the Highlanders with the second pick - he'll also need some time to develop. First baseman Joe Harris, who has possibly the biggest offensive upside, went to the Cubs with the third pick.
